You can’t take this medical preparation if you suffer from an allergy to albuterol (also can be found in Ventolin) or ipratropium (an ingredient of Sal-Tropine and Atreza). In a case you suffer from an allergy to soybeans or peanuts as well as any food products or drugs containing soya lecithin, cease taking Combivent.

Avoid using along with Combivent inhaler the next group of medications: atropine, belladonna, methscopolamine (Pamine), other bronchodilators like Spiriva, Quarzan, Robinul, hyoscyamine, Bentyl, Cantil, Provocholine, bladder or urinary tract meds, irritable bowel drugs, beta-blockers, diuretics, MAO inhibitors, ADHD preparations, diet pills, any cold or allergy medicines; medicines for curing the symptoms of Parkinson's disease like Cogentin or Norflex.

Test your lungs often while being on Combivent and do not forget to check blood regularly as well. Avoid getting this drug into your eyes. If this happened, rinse eyes with a large amount of water.
