What Does Alesse Treat?
A doctor may prescribe using Alesse pills to prevent unplanned pregnancy.
How to Take Alesse?
Alesse tabs are taken according to the strict schedule and missing of doses can lead to undesired pregnancy. That is why it is important to appeal to a gynecologist before starting to use Alesse as a contraceptive.
The first pill of Alesse cycle is taken on the first day of a menstrual period or on the first Sunday after the start of a period (ask your doctor how to start using this medication, if you have doubts).
Alesse is supplied with pills for 28-day cycle and also contains 7 additional (reminding pills) in order to keep a woman on her regular menstrual cycle. A period should start along with the schedule for taking the “reminder” pills form the Alesse package.
Keep visiting your doctor while being on Alesse pills. During the first 3 months of using a woman may have breakthrough bleeding and other side effects which have to be tested and monitored.
Each dose of Alesse (one oils) should be taken according to the strict schedule – one tab is per every 24 hours. Do not stop using Alesse even for one day if you don’t intend to get pregnant.
